I'm currently laughing my ass off now. xD

Anyway, I went to my dad's for the 4th of July. It was pretty cool. I stayed at my grandma's house down the road, but on the 4th I was at my dad's for dinner and fireworks. I ignored Cindy and pretended she wasn't there. It worked as we never spoke to each other once the whole time.
Well, Tim and I watched Pearl Harbor while playing battleship (random, I know xD ), and then we played cards with our grandma while watching the baby.
One of our neighbors had just gotten over viral meningitis and she had 5 kids so we weren't allowed to play with any of them. In case you don't know what disease that is, it's a disease that can paralyze you or possibly kill you and it's VERY contagious.
Well, as we were having dinner (which was crap), some severe thunderstorms kicked in. They lasted about 10 or maybe 15 minutes and then we went outside to do fireworks. We had those little ground fireworks that everyone got for $30 at Wal-Mart. So the whole cul-de-sac was outside doing the litte fireworks when one of our neighbors said "We'll be back with the heavy duty stuff from our friends' house." They took off in their truck and they returned about 15 minutes later with some good stuff. They apparently had gone to Alabama a few weeks back and had gotten $600 worth of fireworks. They had some AWESOME fireworks and their biggest one was so big and bright that it lit up the whole cul-de-sac like it was daytime and the streetlights turned off. After that, at around 11:30 I went to my grandma's and read for a bit before going to bed.
When I got up the next day my grandma and I talked for a bit about Feng Shui and our Chinese Zodiacs. We then left to some furniture store where she was debating on which table to buy. Well, grandma had been here before and had the most annoying lady there that had been helping her. She was frustrating because she was doing all the obvious stuff to get a good sale (flattering my grandma about her age, influencing her to buy another table, etc.). We ended up getting the cheaper table because grandma wasn't interested in buying a table with two extras chairs for $800 more. xP
After that we went to Applebee's (which I dislike, but I didn't argue). We had quite dry buffalo wings, but I didn't care much because I was concentrating on the World Cup that was on the TV. I was rooting for Portugal, but I knew France would win (and indeed, they did). So now it's France vs. Italy and Germany vs. Portugal. I hope Italy and Portugal win (and Italy more so). =)

And by the way, I hate this anime version of it. Utter crap if you ask me. This is way better.
