I hate school. D:

I hate my living arrangements, I hate my roommate, I hate the food, I hate the people, and I hate not being close to anyone here.

I've never met so many self-centered pricks in one place.

I want to go home so bad. D:

I get to transfer, but fuck me, a whole other semester here.

Any advice for dealing with bad roommates? Not that anyone actually uses LJ anymore. xD It's all Facebook, and if I post this on facebook, I'd piss off a lot of people.

Also: 250th post on LJ, wtf.

I'm so sorry buddy!! ;^; you can do it for another semester... I believe in you! At least that gives ya something to look forward too?

As for room mate advise... I hear ya on the suffering thing. My roomie was almost never in the room last quarter so it was blissful and quiet... but right at the end of the quarter she started bringing her stupid friend(s) over and they'd stay in the room till ungodly hours when I wanted to sleep to be ready for my FINALS. Ughhhhh.

This quarter has been worse that way. She and her friend are inseparable and are over here ALL. THE. TIME. talking in this horrible, stupid, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" baby voice they have.... and other dumb accents. Oh, and they go "MEH" every five flippin' seconds. It makes me wanna bash my head into a wall repeatedly.

The way I'm dealing with her is outright not being in the room as much as possible. I go out and study with my friends or in the lounge, I hang out, I go for walks.... anything to not be in the room. I don't know what your situation is though D:

My situation:

I live in a small room and I share it with another person. Pics of my room:

So last semester I changed roommates because the previous one sexed me out all the time. So in the middle of my first semester my roommate changed. Now I have a roommate that is seriously just a bitch (but is better than the other one). Every morning I wake up to the sound of her chewing (yesterday it was the sounds of her slurping up an apple) OR to the sound of her yelling down the hall to her friends or vice versa (she keeps the door to the hall open, which is right next to my head.) Now, if this was going on past 11 or even 10AM, I could excuse it, but she does it every morning before 10AM, sometimes before 9AM. Too. Fucking. Early.

I chose my schedule this semester so I could sleep in on Tuesdays and Thursdays (MWF I have a class that I HAVE to take and it is at 9AM and my roommate takes it too). So thus far, I have had the sneaking suspicion that she has been trying to wake me up early on purpose for no reason. I thought perhaps it was revenge for last semester (last semester I was up late on my computer often, although I feel that I kept it low and whatever, but this semester I decided not to be rude in anyway so that perhaps we could get along better because last semester she would wake me up by yelling at me what time it was).

However, this morning she brought in a few people into the room and some guy from across the hall was like "Is Laura sleeping?" (this is at 10AM that the guy asks) and my roommate replies "Yeah, but she sleeps more than me, so I don't care."

So I am fucking pissed because now I KNOW she is being a petty bitch. Seriously, I CHOSE my schedule based on my sleeping habits. Just because she didn't, doesn't mean I should have to suffer.

So this among other issues with her has pissed me off. If you want to jump on YIM/MSN sometime in the future, I can copy/paste all the shit she has done from convos with my friends, as I think this comment is long enough as it is. xD

And yeah, bad roommates SUCK. I hope your situation improves as well. D:

I'm so glad uni is just 20 minutes away on bus for me. Given what some of the people in my class are like, I really don't like the idea of having to live with one.

Some people say I'm very asocial or something... I'd say it's more like what the late George Carlin said: "I have a very low tolerance level for stupid bullshit". =P

Anyway, good luck and hope things improve at least a bit for you. =\

poor laura D: i'm horrible at giving advice, but i'll give in my share anyway because WE ARE BROS :D

well from what i learned from my college experience, it usually takes time to get used to things, if not, then...EVERYTHING SUCKS D8 idk i feel like everything's changing at a rate so fast, i can't keep up and i'm lost. college life suuuuucksssss~i'm sorry about your roommate & the people there. either they are pricks or haven't met the amazing laura we all know! > v < ...or maybe florida peeps are just WEIRD :|

as for transferring, i think you should finish this semester first and transfer to ksu/or w/e later. you'll end up getting fail!schedules and craploads of assignments. D: but anyhoo, ksu isn't that bad of a school :\ it's the 3rd biggest university in GA and has the highest nursing programs or something(if that is anything of value towards you) XD plus you've been in the dining hall. your tacos < our dining hall...TEE HEE :D

and btw, if you transfer, then tess can't come over to your dorm and visit!! ; ________________ ; & make a paper mache fist and punch them...WITH YOUR WORDS!!!
